They are made of good quality tempered carbon steel, but they are not usually perfectly balanced. Due to their quality, they are considered functional weapons, but they cannot be used as weapons for medieval combat due to their hardness and low resistance.

What is the hardness of a C-grade sword blade?

The hardness of the blade is always less than 48 HRC. Like the A and B grades, they are full tang and screwed or welded to the handle, however, the balance is not always of good quality.
