Scabbard swords of this type were used primarily by cavalry and members of the navy in 18th century Europe.
This European short sword replica has an EN45 spring steel blade, which is unsharpened.
The stop element as well as the handle with the corresponding hand guard were made of brass.
The scabbard is made of wood wrapped in leather, with brass fittings. On the muzzle plate there is a hook
with which the holster can be attached to a belt.
