The Rapier is due to its design typical of the Pappenheimer vessel (Parierkorb) called.
It takes its name from the imperial commander of the 30 Years' War Gottfried von Pappenheim.
This Korbrapier has a hardened, dull carbon steel blade that has pointed ends. The large basket handle is made of steel and is lined with felt, the handle itself is wrapped with wire.
The scabbard is made of wood covered in leather and features a medallion on the site and is made of metal.
