It is straw-coloured and has a cloudy appearance, as this mead is not filtered or clarified, as befits a unique artisan product with the character of an authentic drink of Viking kings.

Its aroma is slightly fruity, reminiscent of natural cider. It has a semi-dry, smooth and low-persistence flavour, so it does not overly sweeten the palate. Ideal to drink alone or with tapas, it pairs very well with cold meats.
