Your long Yari was given to you by your master many years ago. It was a bittersweet moment for you, because while it meant that you had overcome all the obstacles in your training, it also meant that it was time to go out on your own.

You find the handle comforting, your hand finding its usual well-used grip. You look past the campfire where a fresh fish is now cooking, sizzling in the heat, watching the flickering shadows along the treeline. You get the feeling that tonight you and your spear may be tested once again as you hear the unmistakable snap of a twig, your grip tightening in anticipation.

DETAILS

The Long Yari from Epic Armoury is an incredible 255cm latex staff inspired by the weapon that served as the backbone of Japan's feudal infantry. Over half a metre taller than its regular Yari cousin, this version of the Long Yari will provide more reach on the battlefield than ever before. This spear is hand painted and sculpted, and the end result is a beautiful weapon with a long, double-edged spearhead. A short gold ricasso attaches the spearhead to a black lacquered and gold-trimmed pole inspired by Asian design.

Made from durable closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can be assured that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you desire when crafting your kit.
