The Hanwei Wakizashi Kami blade is hand-forged from K120C powdered steel and folded for extra hardness and strength. It also features a hand-engraved "Fudo" horimono and Bo-Hi that gives it a stunning appearance. The extraordinary surface grain (Hada) along the blade, which is further emphasized by the pronounced hardness line (Hamon), speaks to the level of attention to detail and quality of craftsmanship that has gone into making this sword.

The handle of the Wakizashi Kami is covered in high-quality ray skin and has a Tsuka-Ito and Sageo woven from premium Japanese silk. The embossed details and individual copper, silver and gold ornaments on Fuchi, Kashira, Kojiri, Koiguchi and Kurigata are made of blackened bronze. And the Tsuba, which represents the guardian spirits of the Shinto religion (Kami), is made of hardened and blackened copper, decorated with embossed decoration and individual silver and gold details.

The Wakizashi Kami comes with a two-part habaki: a lower section made of copper and an upper section of gold-plated brass. The Saya is painted a deep red color and has a black section before opening that imitates a ringed winding. The detailing on the Saya completes the impressive appearance of this sword.

With an overall length of approximately 66 cm, a blade length of approximately 47 cm, and a handle length of approximately 15.9 cm, the Wakizashi Kami has a weight of around 680 g and a center of gravity of approximately 8.9 cm in front of the guard.
