The loose-fitting medieval dress has a geren inserted at the side and is floor-length. Geren are wedge-shaped pieces of fabric that gave the garment its generous hem width in the Middle Ages.
The collected section is based on an archaeological fragment from Pskov (also Pleskau), Russia, belonging to a Viking dress dated to the 10th century. It is provided with a slit in the front centre and can be regulated by a ribbon. The sleeve cuffs can also be gathered by ribbons.
The children's dress is made of cotton fabric
plain and can be worn as undergarment or top.

You must send the item(s) to us using your own means. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.
