The ULF-SW-04B Viking Combat Sword with Scabbard is a historical replica of a 10th century Viking sword, created for battle-readiness and also available as a decorative or sharpenable version. This sword is a product of intense original research, with a forged blade made of EN45 spring steel that has been oil-hardened and tempered to be between 48-50 HRC hardness. The blade features a pronounced groove that gives the sword elasticity and lightness at the same time.

This sword has been designed for the comfort of modern people, taking into account the dimensions of the grip to make it suitable for modern exhibition fighting. The blade is blunt and rounded, as are the tip and the blades. The windshield is made of steel and the wooden handle is wrapped in leather to give greater grip and comfort to the user.

The sword is typologically classified as Petersen Type S and Wheeler Type III. The scabbard has also been specifically designed for this replica, using the type 10 combination as described in the relevant specialist literature. The wooden scabbard is included in the delivery and is covered in leather, with a richly decorated, elegant muzzle and a silver-plated brass Ortblech.

This ULF-SW-04B Viking combat sword with scabbard has a combat grade of SK-B class, which means it is suitable for stage fighting and tough hand-to-hand combat. The sword has a total length of about 93.5 cm, a blade length of 75.5 cm, and a blade width at the parier of about 4.2 cm. The thickness of the blade is 4 mm, and the balance is about 13 cm in front of the guard. The striking edge is about 2 mm, slightly rounded, and the total weight of the sword is about 1100 g.
