ULF-PA-11Z Viking Scale Armor

Reproduction of an early medieval lamellar armour, used for example by Saxons, Franks and Vikings.
The Visby and Birka finds demonstrate the popularity of this armour among (northern) Germans. The scales used here are based on the originals from the Birka find.

Our slat armor is made from approximately 430 sheds of hand-forged steel. The individual plates are held together by thick leather straps. They are galvanized to provide corrosion protection to the armor.
