ULF-PA-03 Plates to protect the arm on gambeson

Handcrafted from 2mm thick steel.
Plate arm protection engl. cat chains for sewing, nesting, riveting or lashing onto gambeson sleeves.

These suits of armour were an important part of the armour of late medieval infantry soldiers, who were usually not protected by full plate armour, but by a padded doublet called a Gambeson using arming-jack . In order to protect the relatively unprotected arm sections from sword flames, these jacket chains, so the arm plates were attached to the sleeves of the tapestry jacket.
