Parier and Knauf are forged from solid brass. The rod is riveted to the knob. The handle is made of hardwood.

The term Damascus steel, Damascus steel or simply Damascus refers to a composite steel made of two
or more different types of steel. The name derives from the Syrian city of Damascus, which is considered an ancient fortress and the origin of Damascus steel production.
Typically, a hard, high carbon steel and a soft, low carbon steel are joined together by repeated welding and fire bending.
High carbon steel provides greater hardness, better hardenability and greater edge retention, while softer steel gives the blade greater elasticity and greater resistance to breakage. With this technique, which originated in a time of poor and changing steel qualities, one can combine the positive characteristics of different steels.
Due to the different colours with varying carbon content, impressive alternating layered patterns are created, such as twisted ones, such as the so-called twist damask or rose damask. Not least due to these patterns, Damascus blades from the Middle Ages were given an inherent magic. The Edda describes such a damascened sword as a bloody worm, a poisonous snake.

Included in delivery is a brown suede case with belt strap.

The delivery time for products made to order or personalized may take longer than usual depending on the workload at that time.

You must send the item(s) to us using your own means. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt. Outside of this period, revocations will not be accepted for orders, nor for orders for the supply of goods made according to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalized, or that, by their nature, cannot be returned or may deteriorate or expire quickly, etc., that have been unsealed and/or used by the Customer. The cost of return shipping will be borne by the Customer. The products must be in the same condition as received, with the original packaging, and must not have been used.
