ULF-HM-25 Viking helmet, Norman nasal Spanghelm 2 mm

This helmet is a replica of an 11th century Norman style Spangenhelm, fully battle ready.

It is made of 2 mm thick steel. The four parts of the helmet shell are welded together and additionally firmly riveted to the overlapping band fittings. This workmanship and the overlapping of the individual fasteners ensure maximum robustness and great protection during combat.

The helmet has a 3.5 mm nose piece, which is also riveted. The nose piece has an angled cross-section, which provides additional rigidity and thus allows for a relatively narrow nose bridge in the eye area. This considerably increases the field of vision compared to other nose pieces.

The helmet is a high quality, adjustable, padded riveted inlay. Also fastened with rivets are the two chin straps made of cowhide with brass buckle.
