Completely battle-ready reproduction of a late medieval iron hat. Iron hats were in fashion in the 13th century and gained great popularity in the 15th century with foot troops. The iron hat was born towards the end of the 15th century the Schaller.
Very solid and therefore suitable for full contact. The thickness of the material is about 2 mm, in the overlapping areas even 6 mm! On the dome of the helmet are superimposed four clasps, which are very decorative, arranged in the form of a cross. The iron hat has two cheek flaps made of steel. On these leather straps are riveted with a buckle.
