Early medieval short tunic

It is often said that short tunics are from earlier times than longer ones and can be seen from the time of the Vikings. It is also true that they are much more flattering when fighting, making the guard position more comfortable because the legs are freer. In any case, our "Short Tunic" falls into the category of "mail" and is similar to the Type 1 of the Nockert catalog.
