 Steeped in tradition
 The Rugged Tanto is a 55cm LARP dagger inspired by the weapons of feudal Japan. Its 37cm straight blade is single-edged, shaped for cutting or piercing perfection. The tanto is meant to be paired with a katana or wakizashi, and serves as a backup weapon in tight spaces.

 
This Rugged Tanto is made from soft EVA foam and is coated with a thick layer of protective latex. Each dagger is hand painted, decorated to look like textured steel and brass without the danger of wielding a real sharp blade. This particular product features a rectangular cross guard protecting the 15cm ergonomic hilt wrapped in leather cord. The pommel is sculpted as a flexible ring, ideal for attaching small trophies or ribbons to match your house colours. The leather cord continues up the blade to create a short ricasso.

 Special care has been taken to ensure our LARP weapons are safe. This Rugged Tanto was built around a solid fiberglass rod core and a flexible kevlar tip to prevent punctures. Its latex finish requires maintenance to maximize its use and your well-being.
