This richly decorated and pre-pierced holder for Roman daggers is based on a findtuck from the Flavian period (2nd half of the 1st century AD). The original artifact found near Tekija/Tekije in Serbia (part of the Roman province of Pannonia in ancient Rome) belonged to the Cingulum or Balteus of a Roman legionary.
This authentic replica of a Roman belt fitting is cast from brass and tinned. Such brass fittings are ideal for building your own Roman belts and are also ideal as replacement parts for existing legionary belts, .B such as our Tekija belt (item no. 1616672600). Delivery is without fastening material.
