Leather horn holder for drinking horn, dragon embossed, Jelling style, dark brown ULF-LP-40

This beautifully crafted horn holder is made from thick, vegetable-tanned buffalo leather (scar leather). The surface and edges are polished and provided with a light colour finish, which gives the leather its characteristic used look. The circumference of the holder can be individually adapted to the horn at the back by means of lacing.
The raised dragon motif in the Jelling style originates from the 10th century silver cup of the Danish king Gorm.
