SOFTCOMBAT DOUBLE COMBAT AXE

Epic Armoury's Double-Headed Battle Axe is the latex weapon fit for northern dwarven warriors. Featuring a solid crescent-shaped head that curves down to the wood-textured haft, this axe is made to be effective in close combat. Each head has a long, curved edge of 45cm, and its 16cm width is secured to the haft by a large gold plate. The weapon's overall length is 80cm, with a sculpted pommel and a 17cm split leather-bound handle.

Made from durable closed cell foam around a solid fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can be assured that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you desire when creating your battlefield kit.

HISTORY

• The first hafted axe was created around 6,000 BC using birch tar and rawhide lashings to attach the blade to its handle.
• Many battle axes doubled as tools and were cheaper to make than swords.
