Your squire straps your Large Shield securely to your arm over the weight of his chainmail, and with a prayer to your god, you and your small unit charge up the road.

DETAILS

The Uncoated RFB Large Shield from Epic Armoury is a semi-curved kite shield inspired by soldiers from the 10th to 12th centuries. This 39" long shield arrives in plain black, carved with a detailed border to look like studded metal. While the design is simple, this Large Shield is timeless and classic, and is sold unpainted and uncoated for your DIY project. It arrives matted and undecorated, so you can add any detail you wish!

Wear this large shield left or right handed with the use of six versatile canvas straps on the back, allowing for different fighting styles and stances. Feel confident that this tough EVA foam shield will withstand the continued abuse of a LARP with regular latex maintenance.

Instructions for use:

Paint the shield with paint designed specifically for EVA foam. When the paint is completely dry, cover the shield with clear latex. Dip the shield or apply it with a brush to create a very thin layer. Clear latex is also available in our store.
