DETAILS

The Jade Dao 85cm from Epic Armoury is a perfectly balanced latex hybrid weapon inspired by the "General of Arms", a traditional curved sword from Chinese culture. It features a balanced single-edged blade, popular among cavalry and effective for slashing and cutting. The blade is slightly curved with a false edge meant to enhance its piercing effectiveness, and is attached to the beautifully detailed polyurethane handle. This handle is shaped and painted to look like carved jade and gold with a ring-shaped, steel-colored pommel, matching the intricate overall design. It also features a counterweight system to give it a great feel in the hand.

Although Asian-inspired, the Jade Dao also features a high fantasy look that can be used in alternative settings. Made from durable closed-cell foam around a fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can be sure that your LARP weapon will provide the security and appeal you desire when crafting your kit.
