If there is one animal that embodies bravery and determination, not inferior to that of the samurai, it is the koi carp. It is said that when it throws itself into rivers and waterfalls, it does so with unparalleled strength. And if it is caught, it is said to face the knife with the same bravery as a samurai in front of the deadly sword. The Koi Wakizashi sword from Hanwei, designed by Paul Chen, pays homage to this legend of Japanese folklore.

The blade of this samurai sword is hand forged from T10 carbon steel and has been differentially hardened using a traditional clay coating process. The result is a sharp and precise cut typical of the best Japanese swords.

The details of the Koi Wakizashi have also been designed with great attention and careful processing. The blackened iron tsuba is beautifully engraved with the koi carp motif. The black stingray skin on the Tsuka fits perfectly and the Tsuka-Ito, made of high-quality white cotton from Japan, provides a comfortable and secure grip.

The Saya is painted in deep black and is decorated with a black and white striped cotton Sageo. To protect the blade when not in use, the Koi Wakizashi comes with a matching cloth cover and a traditional sword care set.

The delivery time for products made to order or personalized may take longer than usual depending on the workload at that time.

You can cancel the purchase contract you entered into in our online store by sending an email within the period indicated above.

You must send the item(s) to us using your own means. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt.
