Featuring a heat-treated Tinker steel blade with a hardness of HRC 50-52, Hanwei Viking Sword is able to offer superior sharp edge retention, anti-burr, and flexible tip. Moreover, both the sharpened and blunt versions have identical handling characteristics, making it perfect for both reenactment and combat.

Inspired by historical examples from the early 9th century, the Hanwei Viking sword features a circular hilt decoration popular in Trondheim, Norway.

Although the blunt blade is more focused on recreation, replacement blades are available for those with the know-how to replace dull blades. As for its main features, the Hanwei Tinker Viking Sword is made of 5160 spring steel and has a hammered pommel. Its overall length is about 95 cm, with a blade length of about 77 cm, a handle length of about 17 cm, and a weight of about 1,250 g.
