The Hanwei SH2047 Viking Combat Sword is a design based on the renowned Gottfried Sword from the 9th century. This sword was created by renowned swordsmith Paul Chen, who used a hardened carbon steel blade that was forged through the hilt and riveted to the end of the handle. On the inside, the sword's handle is covered in leather for a comfortable and secure grip. The guard and pommel are also made from high-grade steel for added durability.

With an overall length of around 91 cm, this Viking sword has a blade that is about 76.0 cm long and a maximum blade width of approximately 3.6 cm. The blunt edge is 2.5 to 3 mm wide and its weight is 1150 g.

The blade of Hanwei's SH2047 Viking Combat Sword is made of AISI 1090 steel, a carbon steel with excellent strength and durability. The Rockwell hardness of the blade is HRC 50, making it perfect for use in battle.

For added protection against knocks and scratches, a fiberglass sheath with a beautiful wooden design is provided. The scabbard of this sword is decorated with metal fittings and features two leather straps for secure and easy carrying.
