Wakizashi Bushido Hanwei

The Bushido Hanwei Wakizashi (copy) is a traditional weapon of Japanese culture that symbolizes the philosophy of Bushido. This term refers to the code of conduct of the samurai, which includes values such as loyalty, discipline, respect and moral rectitude. It is not only a weapon, but also a representation of an ancient tradition, and this Wakizashi is designed to keep that tradition alive.

One of the highlights of the Hanwei Bushido Wakizashi is its blade, which is completely unique. It is hand-made and contains K120C powder steel that has been folded several times to achieve maximum strength and durability. The length of the blade is approximately 47 cm, and the total length of the Wakizashi is around 63.5 cm.

The Saya, or scabbard, is lacquered and features a beautiful floral brass inlay of cherry blossoms, a symbol of spring and renewal. The Tsuka, or handle, is wrapped in high-quality stingray leather for a comfortable and secure grip. The Tsuba, or handguard, is made of blackened and bronzed iron with gold and silver detailing depicting a battle scene.

The Wakizashi Bushido Hanwei also features details and finishes made from different materials to bring a touch of elegance and authenticity to this unique piece of Japanese culture. The Fuchi and Kashira are made from blackened bronze with brass details, while the Kojiri, Koiguchi and Kurikata are made from polished horn. The Habaki is made from a single piece of brass.

This Wakizashi is part of a series of weapons that also includes the Bushido Katana (SKU SH1210) and the Bushido Tanto (SKU SH1212). Together, these three items complement any Japanese weapon collection and provide an authentic representation of samurai culture.

As for its technical specifications, the Hanwei Wakizashi Bushido has a weight of 737 grams, with a center of gravity of 10.2 cm before the Parler. The width of the blade at Parler is about 2.7 cm, while at the top it measures 1.9 cm. The thickness of the blade at Parler is about 6 mm, and at the top it is 5 mm.

In short, the Hanwei Wakizashi Bushido is a work of art in itself and an authentic representation of Japanese culture. Its unique features, hand-crafted blade and design details make it a collector's item that captures the very essence of Bushido.
