You look at your senior officer as he makes his way through the line of your fellow soldiers. Your fate and the fate of your entire unit rests on this veteran's word, and you are relieved to no longer bear such a heavy burden.

“We must fight!” your officer shouts for all to hear. You adjust your warrior shoulder plates, double-checking the buckles as you listen to him continue. “For our homes and for our families, we will fight until we can fight no more!” With a resounding cheer, your fellow soldiers prepare to charge. You draw your weapon, anxious and scared all at once.

The battle has begun.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury's Warrior Shoulder Plates are a set of two shoulder guards with roller, cauldron and lame edges. The rocks have five ridged metal plates, or lames, that overlap each other to provide laminated protection for the upper arms. Besauges (small round convex metal shields) strapped to the rocks with leather cords add further protection to the armpits. The shoulder plates are secured with leather straps around the bicep and across the shoulder blade, attaching to a breast and back plate. Epic Armoury's breast and back plates can be purchased separately and have attachments for mounting the shoulders.

The Warrior Shoulder Plates are neutral in style and fully usable with other Epic Armoury metal products, giving you the freedom to customise your character's costume. Made from 1mm thick mild steel and top grain leather straps and fittings, this piece of armour is designed to withstand the abuse of a LARP or re-enactment with regular leather and metal armour care.
