Life as a mercenary has made you a hardened and effective warrior, and while some call it "luck" when your enemy's sword slips out of your Merc Armor, you call it strategy. After all, your enemy's heart is now an open target.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury's Mercenary Tassets are reminiscent of typical late medieval and renaissance pikeman armour. The piece consists of three broad metal plates that overlap each other to provide laminated protection for the hips and upper thigh. The tassets leave the pelvis somewhat unprotected, and a codpiece would normally be added to protect the groin area. The tassets are secured in place with leather laces.

Mercenary Tassets are designed to match Epic Armoury's Mercenary Armour, and are the only tassets that are not fully interchangeable with other Epic Armoury metal products. Made from 1mm thick mild steel and top grain leather straps and fittings, this piece of armour is designed to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.
