This piece is based on the S18 harness found in the Churburg armory and although it is dated to the beginning of the 15th century, some specialists maintain that it could belong to the range of years between 1370 and 1410. The pieces on which this set is based supposedly belonged to the Count of Matsch and are attributed to be Lombard work.
