Your lord walks along the battle lines, shouting encouragement. Your Churburg armor gleams in the sunlight as he finally calls for the charge, and with that decisive cry the battle begins.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury's Churburg Armor is a simple, low-fantasy piece of armor that protects the front and back of the torso and abdomen. The plate rests at the waist and is sculpted to fit the body and add structural strength to the steel.

The Churburg armour is adorned with a wide "V" at the front to deflect attacks from the head. It is fully usable with other Epic Armoury metal products, giving you the freedom to customise your character's costume. Made from 1mm thick mild steel and top grain leather straps and fittings, this piece of armour is designed to withstand the abuse of a LARP or re-enactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

Available in Medium/Large and X-Large/XX-Large sizes, and in Polished Steel and Epic Dark colors.

HISTORY

Loosely based on the Churburg Cuirass #13, a historically famous 14th century armor
The historical inspiration was considered a "transitional" cuirass, intended to be worn with heavy chainmail.
Our version is much larger than the original, protecting the entire chest.
