Milanese plate armor is often regarded as one of the best, if not the best type of historical armor. It is exceptionally light, yet incredibly durable. It is the type of armor that can stop virtually any type of weapon and was the first choice of any Knight who could afford it.
Our Milanese Infantry Breastplate is made from 16 gauge steel, making it ideal for reenactment. It is reinforced with plackart and features adjustable leather straps for a secure fit.

- Steel thickness: 1.6 mm
- Weight: approx. 4.36 kg (pair) Made of 1.6mm steel. The thickness of the steel may vary due to the artisanal manufacturing of our products. Carbon steel is not treated so it may have rust, which is easily removable. You can protect this item from rust with our Ballistol oil. No claims will be accepted for any of the above cases.
