Viking Leg Guards, 2mm Steel
Our Viking Splint Greaves are based on a pair of greaves excavated from Valsgá¤rde in Sweden. They belonged to a Germanic warrior from the Vendel era and date back to the 7th century. They are constructed from 2mm steel strips which are attached with leather straps and are excellent for protecting the lower legs during combat. Sold as a pair.

Made of 2mm steel.
Steel thickness may vary due to the handcrafting of our products. Carbon steel is not treated so it may rust, which is easily removable. You can protect this item from rust with synthetic or mineral oil.
