Also called Pancella or Pancellar, as a reinforcement, the pancera could be used interchangeably to complement padded pieces such as doublets or gambesons or to put on brigantines and coracins. A protection seen throughout the 15th century. The one we offer here has two points of reinforcement for a correct attachment to the piece to be reinforced.

Specs:
Made of 1.6mm steel. Steel thickness may vary due to the handcrafting of our products. Carbon steel is not treated so it may have rust, which is easily removable. You can protect this item from rust with our Ballistol oil.
