On Belay pocket knife D2 steel Medford MK038DP-01TM

Knife makers often lament that naming a new knife is the hardest part of making new knives, but not in this case! When the lines of this design came together, the prominent slotted backstrap just screamed Mountain Climbing Gear, and with Greg Medford spending some time hanging on a rope rappelling, the On Belay was born.

The faux edge drop point knife is a beast and ready for whatever you have to dish out. The thumb opening slot on the blade keeps the piece countdown and on top of that, the blade spins like it's on ball bearings. This knife and its full sized handle blew us all away in 2017 and has become a new favorite for MKT followers around the world.
