8A Stainless Steel
Cold Steel® has been using the same expertly hardened Japanese AUS 8A steel for nearly three decades. This steel has been tested extremely well and has proven over the years to be excellent for making blades for work knives – it is tough and corrosion resistant with good edge retention and is also easy to sharpen.
