The Espada® series is the result of a collaboration between knifemaker Andrew Demko and Cold Steels® President Lynn C. Thompson. This collection is the perfect fusion of Demko’s ingenious technical talent and Thompson’s extensive knowledge of bladed weapons and tools. These massive, highly efficient folding knives are incredibly easy to carry. They have been cleverly designed to fit comfortably in your pocket, and you will soon forget that you are carrying such a large, imposing blade with you. Thanks to Demko’s patented thumb disk, Espada® knives can be opened by pulling them out of the pocket at the edge of the pocket, and are therefore ready to use in no time!

The beautiful blades are made of high-quality American CTS® XHP steel. This super-powdered steel from the USA was deliberately selected: the cutting edges can be ground extremely finely, but remain sharp for a particularly long time.

To protect against this razor-sharp blade, each Espada® is equipped with Cold Steels® patented Tri-Ad® locking mechanism. This lock has proven to be incredibly shock-resistant and solid. It is virtually impossible for the blade to close on your hand. In the famous Cold Steel® hardness and load tests, the XL Espada® was not only able to withstand a weight of 272 kg (600 lbs.) hanging freely, but also a hanging engine block!

The Medium Espada® offers Cold Steel® as a slightly slimmer, tactical, darker version with a durable, DLC-coated blade and handle scales made of G-10.

Limited Special Edition 2015 : The G-10 Espada® Medium folding knife presented here has a handle scale made of G-10 in the color OD Green (olive green) with black connecting elements.

Carpenter CTS® XHP steel
Carpenter American CTS® XHP steel is a high-alloy powder steel with a high carbon and chromium content. It has very impressive edge retention. With its extremely fine and uniform structure, it outperforms equivalent mild steels. This high-performance steel is used for many products, whether for first-class kitchen knives or surgical instruments. Its polished surface looks beautifully matte and its cutting edges can be ground extremely sharply, making this steel a first-class blade material for knives for everyday use.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to process your return due to withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal will not apply to products made by hand to order, products modified according to the specifications requested by the buyer or clearly personalized, except for manufacturing defects or errors. The delivery time for products made to order or personalized may take longer than usual depending on the workload at that time.

You can cancel the purchase contract you entered into in our online store by sending an email within the period indicated above.

You must send the item(s) to us using your own means. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt. Outside of this period, revocations will not be accepted for orders, nor for orders for the supply of goods made according to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalized, or that, by their nature, cannot be returned or may deteriorate or expire quickly, etc., that have been unsealed and/or used by the Customer. The Customer must notify THE ENTITY of their withdrawal through the Withdrawal Form (Link to the Document) by email, post, or fax, within this 14-day period. The cost of return shipping will be borne by the Customer. The products must be in the same condition as received, with the original packaging, and must not have been used. The refund will be issued using the same payment method used by the Customer .
