R1 Lite, pocket knife / rescue knife with 8Cr13MoV steel blade

The SR1 Lite may not be much lighter than the SR1 (item #62L) in terms of weight, but when it comes to budget, it will definitely be less of a burden on your wallet!

It looks virtually the same as its bigger brother, but it has Griv-Ex® handles (instead of G-10) and a blade made of cheaper 8Cr13MoV steel. On the other hand, it hasn't lost any of its sharpness and is ready for rough use or the next big adventure at any time.

8Cr13MoV stainless steel
8Cr13MoV has similar properties to AUS 8A and is a proven steel that is ideal for making work knives. Cold Steels® own testing has shown that this high carbon stainless steel is hard and corrosion resistant. Like AUS 8A, it shows good edge retention and can also be easily re-sharpened.
