It's obvious why the Launch 10 was nicknamed "The Claw" at Kershaw. It features a nimble Hawkbill-style blade with angular surfaces on the back of the blade and handle.

But despite all this angularity, the Launch 10 is comfortable to carry, hold and use. With its curved blade and sharp tip position, the knife is particularly useful for opening packages or shredding cardboard boxes. And thanks to its excellent cutting ability in pull cuts, rope and cord can also be handled without any problems.

The stonewashed blade is made of CPM 154, a powder-metallurgical steel, which offers excellent sharpness and edge retention and is also characterized by good corrosion resistance, wear resistance and elasticity. And while the claw-shaped blade is bent downwards, the handle (made of strong yet lightweight anodized aluminum) is raised towards the end. This results in a balanced and coherent overall picture and ensures a secure hold.

The Launch 10 has an integrated rear spacer with a generous lanyard hole and a convertible deep carry . Pocket clip. The knife can be quickly opened and unlocked by a button on the handle, so that the blade can be folded back into the handle after use. The flat profile of the button reduces the risk of accidental activation.
