Kershaw has slimmed down the back of the handle for easier carrying. This makes the Fringe lighter than you might expect from an all-steel pocket knife. Thanks to its deep pocket clip, the knife sits securely in your trouser pocket, but remains easily accessible when needed. The blade, made of top-class 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, has been expertly heat-treated for maximum performance. It displays good sharpening and edge retention and can also be re-sharpened without any problems. The grey coating provides even better protection against corrosion and gives the blade a sophisticated look. Thanks to the SpeedSafe® opening mechanism, the knife is opened quickly and easily using the built-in flipper or pin.

The handle is also provided with a grey titanium carbonitride coating and is additionally equipped with a generous carbon fibre insert that is a real eye-catcher, especially when it catches the light. A stable frame lock ensures that the blade is securely locked during use. Black screws perfectly round off the elegant overall picture.
