(reminiscent of a spear point blade in some ways) and looks great. This shape gives the knife an excellent
puncture property and ensures an even more controlled cut.

The steel handle was deliberately kept soft for greater comfort in the bag. However, it is equipped with two finger recesses that
guarantee an excellent grip. The ferrite is equipped with the SpeedSafe opening mechanism and can therefore be opened
quickly and easily with one hand. To release the blade from the handle, simply press the fin or slide the
thumb pin forward. The SpeedSafe system takes care of the rest, so the blade easily snaps into position. A
Frame lock ensures the blade is securely locked during use.

A gray titanium carbonitride coating on the blade and handle gives the knife a straight, slim look. The pocket clip
is convertible. Therefore, the knife can be carried either on the left or right hand. Like many of Rick Hinderer's custom knives, the
ferrite comes with a filler tab . This insert plate, which is placed on the opposite side of the
pocket clip attachment point, gives the handle the finishing touch in terms of style and completes the look of the
front handle housing.
