Kershaw Cinder Pocket Knife, Copper KW-1025CU

It's keychain friendly. It's multifunctional. It doesn't look scary at all. And now it's also available with beautiful, structured copper handles.

Designed by custom knifemaker Rick Hinderer, the Cinder is the ultimate cutting knife and a handy mini utility knife. Whether in a bunch of keys, in a backpack, at home or in the car – thanks to its small and economical format, there is room for it almost anywhere. And if you need it, this handy Kershaw knife can be opened manually with a pin and is securely locked in the working position with a liner lock. For a beautiful appearance, the exposed liner lock is provided with cutouts that underline the line pattern of the structured scales of the handle.

Real copper handles give the Cinder a cool look. Copper is heavier than stainless steel or fiberglass-reinforced nylon, but the Cinder is so small that the extra weight is hardly noticeable here. The copper version weighs only about 15 g more than the original model. And you'll especially like to see how the surface of the handle develops an attractive patina over time.

The handle harmonises beautifully with the stonewashed finish of the approximately 3.6 cm long blade. One might think that a blade of this size is too small to be really useful, but this is not true in the case of the Cinder. Rick and Kershaw have provided the knife with a blade that, thanks to its raised tip, offers plenty of cutting surface. Do you have large hands? No problem. Here, the handle was designed in such a way that the index finger and thumb rest further forward in front of the blade axis. This means that the knife can be held securely with three fingers.

The mini pocket knife is conveniently multi-functional and is equipped with an integrated bottle opener on the back of the handle. It can also be easily attached to a keychain thanks to the large lanyard hole.

The small, lightweight Cinder works better than you'd expect, and the copper handle only makes it better.
