The S30V Blur is equipped with the SpeedSafe® opening mechanism and can therefore be easily opened with one hand.
The resistance of the torsion bar in the Speedsafe mechanism is overcome by a brief push of the thumb pin forward.
Speedsafe then does the rest and the blade can be quickly and easily extended from the handle.

The reversible pocket clip is designed for tip-up and tip-down use , and a
hole in the handle allows for attaching a lanyard.
