Kershaw Atmos Pocket Knife, Blue or Black KW-4037

This pocket knife has a thin, modified drop-point blade with a sheath (a tapered, but not sharp, top surface of the blade). While the sanded areas were machine satin-finished, the remaining flat areas, also satin-finished, show visible sanding lines.

The handle is made from lightweight G-10 and features a Liner-Lock insert , which ensures a secure lock and helps keep the knife’s overall weight down. There are also carbon fiber butt pads, but they’re probably like no other: To give you a heavenly, cloud-smooth experience with the Atmos, Kershaw beveled and rounded the edges of the butt pads so that the knife not only sits comfortably in your hand, but can also be easily slipped into or out of your pocket itself.

The Atmos was designed by Dmitry Sinkevich and has the typical clear and practical Sinkevich design, but with some special features. In addition to the beveled carbon fiber pads, a specially created oversized axle screw, a rear spacer with a wide integrated lanyard and a convertible pocket clip for carrying are also part of the equipment. Thanks to the KVT ( Kershaw Velocity Technology ) ball-bearing opening mechanism, the blade can be opened manually quickly and easily.
