-The clip-point blade is almost identical in shape to the Bush Ranger's blade, but this Lite version is made of durable 8Cr13MoV steel and can be opened with a thumb stud. Since comfort of use is always a decisive factor, the handle is made of ergonomically shaped glass-fibre reinforced nylon (GFN) and fits like a glove in the hand. The Bush Ranger Lite weighs just under 140g and is particularly easy to carry because it is not only lightweight, but also has a convertible pocket clip that is suitable for right- and left-handed users. 8Cr13MoV stainless steel
8Cr13MoV has similar properties to AUS 8A and is a tried and tested steel that is ideal for the production of work knives. Cold Steels® own testing has shown that this high carbon stainless steel is hard and corrosion resistant. Like AUS 8A, it shows good edge retention and can also be easily re-sharpened.
