Crawford Knife Model 1 - CST-20MWC

Custom pocket knife maker Wes Crawford is a long-time friend of Cold Steel®. So Cold Steel® was more than happy to work with him on developing an affordable version of one of their expensive custom pinball machines. The result is the Crawford Model 1.

The Japanese 4034 stainless steel blade is similar to the blade on Wes' original custom knife, heavily ajar. It has a wide sabre cut and a sharp, stable tip with plenty of belly for slicing and slicing. It's been hollow-ground and is so thin and sharp that it cuts with the slightest touch. And since Wes' pinball fuses seamlessly with the tang, it can be extended in an instant!

In profile and shape, the handle is very similar to Wes' original. Here, however, it is made of sturdy (albeit inexpensive) fiberglass-reinforced nylon with non-slip rubber inserts and a flat pocket clip.

The blade lock offers your fingers optimal protection, because the Crawford 1 is equipped with a double-safety side spring lock (patent pending) that is extremely resistant to shocks and impacts.

4034SS Stainless Steel
A middle-class stainless steel from Japan, whose higher chromium content ensures remarkable corrosion resistance. This steel is also relatively easy to grind and has relatively good wear resistance. It is often used for kitchen knives/cutlery or for rather smaller knives that are generally of good quality, but still offered at an economical price.
