It is also equipped with Cold Steel®'s world-famous Tri-Ad® locking mechanism.

2018 Model - The Code 4® Spear Point with S35VN steel blade replaces the discontinued CTS® XHP predecessor (item number CST-58TPCS).

CPM S35VN steel
This is an extraordinary American super steel. CPM S35VN is not only extremely tough and durable, but can also be ground very well to razor sharpness and maintain this sharpness for a long time. With its uniform microstructure, this very fine-grained powder steel offers long-lasting and good properties: durable, reliable, highly resistant to corrosion, tough and hard even with finely ground cutting edges. A good, versatile steel for high-quality knives and tools.
