The Blue River knife series was inspired by the Blue River, a tributary of the Colorado River, inhabited by the indigenous Arapaho tribe. The knife series pays tribute to the warrior culture and outstanding hunting skills of this tribe. The Blue River knife series features a handle with a reconstructed stone inlaid with a turquoise pattern reminiscent of the origins of Native American turquoise jewelry, as well as a rustic and natural blade surface evoking the spirit of war, survival and hunting that these ancient tribes symbolize.
