At the beginning of the 14th century, in what is known as the "Transitional Period" of armour, arm protections such as the one reconstructed here can be seen. Specifically based on various funerary brasses, this style of half-arms with lunettes can be seen combined in some cases even with chainmail and manacles in very early stages of the century. A flexible and versatile protection that can be combined with many different pieces for a wide variety of possibilities.
