Cloaks were an integral part of clothing throughout the Middle Ages and were worn by all social classes. They were available with and without hoods and in different lengths and cuts. The cloak provided protection and warmth in bad weather. If the cloak did not offer enough protection, a hood was worn over it.
This elegant unisex cloak, also called a circle cloak or semicircular cloak, is made of cotton fabric and trimmed with velvet. It closes with a chain attached to two metal buttons.

Care instructions:
Cotton velvet should not be put in the washing machine as the velvet will become permanently wrinkled. Velvet should also not be ironed, as this will cause the pile to lose its depth. We recommend removing light stains with a clothes brush in the direction of the pile. In case of heavy soiling, we recommend taking the cloak to the dry cleaners.

You must send the item(s) to us using your own means. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.
