The Mizutori® blade is made from high-grade 1095 carbon steel and has been differentially clay hardened, creating a hardening line (hamon) that proves to be one of the most impressive aspects of the blade. The blade has been hand-stripped and features a Hamaguri cut, which offers excellent cutting ability. Additionally, both sides of the blade and the back of the blade have been polished to a high gloss to give it an even more impressive appearance.

The tsuba and menuki are decorated with a beautiful symbolic crane motif that perfectly complements the overall design theme. This gives the katana an extremely detailed look and increases its visual appeal.
