GAMBESON WARRIOR HISTORICAL RECREATIONS

It is a long, padded-sleeved coat that covers the torso from the neck, down over the hips in the front and back.

It can be worn on its own or serve as essential padding under armor. It is constructed of thick layers of heavy cotton. All of these layers are sewn together in vertical lines, keeping the padding in place and simulating a great classical European medieval style.

MAINTENANCE

As a heavy duty fabric, this heavy canvas product is stronger and heavier than plain cotton. This material wrinkles easily, but can be ironed at a higher heat setting.

Cleaning

Clean dirt from the bag with a brush and hand wash cold when necessary.

Machine wash at 40°C/104°F. Wash separately the first time and with like colours afterwards. Tumble dry on low heat, but be aware that it may shrink up to 5%. For general stains or discolouration on the canvas, treat with a commercial fabric cleaner or dry with warm water and a soft cloth.
