Our German Asymmetrical Shoulder Pads are designed in the late 15th century Gothic style and was popular with knights in Germany, France and England. The left shoulder is more reinforced than the right as this side of the body is more likely to take a blow from a right-handed swordsman. The top of the shoulder is pierced with armour points (holes) to allow the armour to be attached to a breastplate or chainmail. Made from 1mm (18 gauge) steel making them ideal for LARP re-enactment.
Specs:
Made of 1.2mm steel.
Steel thickness may vary due to the handcrafting of our products. Carbon steel is not treated so it may have rust, which is easily removable. You can protect this item from rust with our Ballistol oil.
